One of the hats I wear is a freelance photographer for various industries, including work for a company that works in the high schools. As this week is dedicated to registration for the schools in the Omaha area, and I look back on my twenty years since I was a senior, it's brought back a flood of emotions and memories.
This week my aunt posted this picture that was taken by one of my grandfathers nearly 40 years ago.
We can't hear the rockin' great music they are dancing to, but it's a picture of both of my grandmothers who were best friends before my parents became best friends. I love it because it represents everything that photography is to me: a history record, a story teller, a capture of memories.
For Seniors, this opportunity to capture memories comes at one of the most important crossroads in a person's life: the bridge between total reliance to one of great independence and adventure. The Senior portrait session should capture the individual and their interests and activities. Something to look back on and remember and to see where we've been and how far we've come.
Want to know more? Have a camera but don't know how to use it? I am offering group classes and one-on-one sessions. You can purchase a voucher through Amazon Local or just pay me directly. I will honor the Amazon local price for the duration of the campaign. These classes make a great gift. During the promotion, classes are two 2-hour sessions of your choice for $50. Once the campaign is over this will return to $100 for two 2-hour sessions.
Folks who enroll in any of these sessions will automatically be a member of the studio's photography club which will grant access to photography excursions and the private online posting room where members can give constructive feedback on work!
Tip of the month: Senior pictures!
It's their time to shine - find the right photographer for you! Important things to ask:
Will your photographer shoot in a location that represents their activities or personal style?
How many outfits are included?
Will your photographer shoot in multiple locations?
Are friends or family invited at no extra charge?
What prints do I get? Can I have a CD of the finished portraits so I can print and share as much as I want?
Do I have to get my prints through the photographer or can I order from anywhere?
Book your session during the month of August and complete your session before December 1 and get:
